Grand Finnish is a 52ft (15.6m) Nauticat 521 ketch completed to an incredibly high specification.

 

With a maximum of 8 on board (6 guests and 2 crew) she is never crowded.

 

The saloon/pilothouse is large and airy (windows above deck level for a clear outlook) with seating for 8 around the main extending table. A drinks fridge and TV/DVD complete the comfortable environment.

 

Down 3 steps to a well-equipped galley with a dining area opposite. Here you will find an extensive library and stock of DVDs.

 

Forward of this is a large double guest cabin with storage, dressing table and en-suite heads/shower. This cabin can be configured to 2 spacious single berths by use of a lee cloth.

 

Taking 3 steps aft from the pilothouse reaches the other 2 guest cabins and access to the capacious engine room (also known as Lee’s shed).

 

The aft double cabin has ensuite heads, storage facilities and dressing table.

 

The port aft double cabin has 2 large single bunks with reading lights, bedside tables and storage.

 

The large cockpit has access to the hydraulic winch controls, chart plotter and offset steering position. An alternate steering position is available IN the pilothouse for protection from inclement weather.

 

Furling sails – main, fore and stay sails are controlled by hydraulic winches, the mizzen with a manual self-tailing winch.

 

The centre console dinghy is carried on davits to the rear of the poop deck.
